THE ROLE
We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Chef to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in consistently high-quality food, and wants to be part of a venue they're genuinely proud to work at.
You’ll be working across sections on a seasonal menu that spans freshly shucked oysters and tuna sashimi through to grass-fed steaks off the grill and house-made gnocchi — a menu that changes with what's best and available.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and cook menu items to a consistently high standard
- Work confidently across multiple sections during service
- Contribute to a kitchen culture that's positive, professional and team-focused
- Assist with daily kitchen operations and prep
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety standards
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Solid Commis, Demis or CDP experience in a busy commercial kitchen
- Genuine passion for seasonal, produce-driven cooking
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and great team instincts
- Availability across evenings and weekends
