TAG is seeking an experienced and customer focused Customer Service Representative to join a busy and growing operation in Dandenong South.

This is a casual prospect with the potential to transition into a permanent position after 3–6 months, offering the chance to establish yourself within the business and grow with the team.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for customers, you will manage enquiries, coordinate service bookings and maintain accurate customer records. You’ll work closely with customer service, sales, logistics and operations teams to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Answer incoming phone calls and manage customer email enquiries

- Create and coordinate customer service bookings

- Update customer schedules and service requirements as needed

- Complete data entry, dockets, reports and general administration

- Maintain accurate information in internal systems

- Set up new customer accounts and maintain existing records

- Process export bookings and data entry

- Enter and action contamination reports

- Assist with weighbridge operations

- Complete filing, scanning and document management

- Provide administrative support to customer service and sales teams

- Deliver professional and friendly customer service at all times





About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in customer service, administration or a similar position

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy

- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative

- The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines

- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook

- A team-focused attitude with the ability to work independently

- A hands-on approach and willingness to assist wherever needed

Experience in the recycling, waste management, transport or logistics industries will be advantageous but is not essential.
