We are seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead our Oak Park centre. We are looking for a hands-on leader who builds a strong team, earns families' trust and takes ownership of the centre's daily operations and growth.

Key responsibilities

Lead daily operations, staffing and rosters, maintaining a safe and welcoming workplace.

Support and mentor educators, with clear expectations and regular feedback.

Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and support continuous improvement.

Build strong relationships with families and respond promptly to enquiries and concerns.

Conduct engaging centre tours, follow up enrolment enquiries and build local community connections.

Manage occupancy, staffing costs and centre resources responsibly.

Keep accurate records and provide concise weekly updates to management.

About you





Previous leadership experience in an Australian early childhood service, ideally as a Centre Director.

Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education recognised by ACECQA.

Strong working knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and relevant regulatory requirements.

Confident in team leadership, rostering, family communication and enrolment management.

Organised, approachable and accountable, with sound judgement and attention to detail.

Current Victorian Working with Children Check and relevant first aid qualifications.

There is also an opportunity for the successful candidate to take on the Educational Leader role, guiding curriculum development and supporting educators to strengthen their practice.
