About the Role
We are seeking a legendary full-time Receptionist (5 days per week) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in medical reception. Best Practice experience highly desirable.
Reporting to our Reception Manager and Practice Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing a warm, professional welcome and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our front desk operations. Phones can get busy, but you’re cool with that. You can multi-task and prioritise your work.
This role requires strong communication, organisational skills, and a genuine passion for patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and appointment bookings.
- Coordinate schedules and liaise with clinicians across multiple specialist services.
- Process payments and maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide information about our clinics and services to patients and referrers.
- Ensure reception and waiting areas are well presented and welcoming.
- Support the wider team with general administration tasks as required.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Minimum 2 years medical reception experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong patient focus.
- Experience with Best Practice Clinic software preferred but not essential.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- Strong computer literacy and experience
- Qualified presentation and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Reliability, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset.
