Westvic Staffing Solutions, in partnership with Moyne Shire, are seeking an enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join their team as a full time Civil & Construction Trainee. This role works on a 9-day fortnight roster and ensures the smooth and efficient running of council’s programs in the construction, road, and street maintenance.

General Tasks Include:

- Operate and maintain plant in an efficient and safe manner on construction and maintenance jobs as required
- Maintain/monitor traffic control and safety signing on the job as required
- Carry out maintenance using techniques, equipment, tools and materials as instructed
- Ensure that work sites are left in a safe and tidy conditions at all times
- Complete a daily timesheet and other documentation as required
- Actively promote the Banks products and services in the marketplace

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- Excellent time management and organisational abilities




- A strong work ethic and genuine interest in the industry
- A willingness to learn, undertake training, and follow directions from supervisors
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically when faced with challenges
