**Coffs Community and Volunteer Centre (CCVC)** is a local hub that helps people find information, connect with services and get involved in community life. We work to strengthen local wellbeing by linking people with practical support, and meaningful ways to contribute and connect.

### **What you'll do**

- Research and identify grant and funding opportunities relevant to CCVC's programs
- Source peer-reviewed articles, data and evidence to support grant and program applications
- Summarise what you find in plain language, with references
- Draft sections of proposals under guidance, keeping to word limits and funder criteria
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to capture community experiences and insights
- Map community strengths, networks and resources that support an application
- Contribute to refining program and project ideas so they are realistic and well-supported
- Assist with preparing application materials and supporting documents

### **What we're looking for:**

- Currently studying (or recently completed) at TAFE or University in a related field; or with relevant research, writing or community-sector experience
*Please note: Dependant on circumstances, we are also open to discussing student placements.*
- Robust written communication skills and attention to detail




- Comfortable researching and summarising information from academic or reliable sources
- Able to write clearly and concisely
- Willing to take feedback and work collaboratively
- Interest in community programs, grants or the not-for-profit sector
- No prior grant-writing experience required - guidance and supervision provided
