Job Description

Katherine Physio Katherine Physio is a private Physiotherapy clinic servicing the local Katherine community and region. We provide Physiotherapy, pilates and massage therapy services. Areas of therapy include private practise, musculo-skeletal physio, NDIS, work cover, hand therapy and splinting, pilates and hydrotherapy classes, women’s health physiotherapy, pediatrics, aged care.

Our caseload is interesting and varied as Katherine captures a unique demographic. Benefits Flexibile working hours Potential NTPHN relocation grant Task & responsibilities Reliably assess,diagnose, and safelydeliver physiotherapy servicesacross a wide range clinical areas and health conditions. Design, prescribe and supervise exercise-based rehabilitation.

Assess efficiency of treatment plans,modify, and refer accordingly. Practice duty of care, including meetingclinic standards and accountability. Provide protected, effective, outcomedriven clinical care through knowledge of scope of practice, referral pathways and communication with other stakeholders and treatment providers.

Keeping detailedrecords of treatments provided and tracking patientprogress and responses. Developing and executing programsfocused on healthscreening and preventative care. Applying therapeutic methods such as exercise, thermal treatments, massage, manipulation, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, ultraviolet and infraredlight, and ultrasound in treatment of patients.

Qualification & experience Registration as a Physiotherapist with Australian HealthPractioners Regulatory Authority (AHPRA). 2 years experience in private practise(desired) but not essential Full working rights in Australia National Police check About Company

Our Story Katherine Physio has been part of the Katherine community for 12 years, providing a wide range of Physiotherapy services to Katherine and surrounding communities. We believe in quality, holistic care , with longer appointment times that allow us to properly understand our patients and achieve the best possible outcomes. Our sister business, The Centre for Movement , is now 2 years old and offers Mat and Reformer Pilates, rehabilitation classes and children's movement programs.

We are continuing to grow our services and inspire the Katherine community to move more and move well . We are a team of 8 across clinical, administration and support roles, including Physiotherapists and Massage Therapists. We work across two locations and offer Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy and Pilates.
