Us HRB Motors Pty Ltd is an automotive repair and maintenance business located in Newcastle, NSW. We provide qualified vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance services for a wide range of vehicle makes and models. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our growing workshop team.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using professional diagnostic equipment.
- Repair and replace engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, and suspension components.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical defects.
- Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding using automotive scan tools.
- Carry out repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.




- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Work independently and collaboratively within the workshop.

Qualifications and Experience

- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30620) or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Experience using modern automotive diagnostic scan tools.
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence.
