Our client's Sydney insurance team acts as coverage and defence counsel across a range of complex lines, including transaction liability and warranty and indemnity insurance. They are looking for a Solicitor or Associate with 2 to 4 years' post-admission experience who wants broader exposure than a single claim type.

About the role
Coverage and defence work across professional indemnity, transaction liability, financial lines and statutory liability.
• Manage your own matters with senior support
• Act as coverage counsel for insurers on complex policies
• Act as defence counsel in professional indemnity claims
• Draft advices, reports and correspondence
• Work with principals on higher-value matters

What you'll bring
• 2 to 4 years' post-admission experience in the defendant insurance space, ideally in professional indemnity or public liability
• The ability to manage your own file load efficiently
• Good client relationship skills
• A cooperative,



problem-solving approach
• A current Australian practising certificate
