About the Role

BLC Queensland is seeking experienced, reliable and motivated Civil / Landscape Labourers to join our growing construction team across South East Queensland.

With a strong pipeline of commercial landscaping, civil infrastructure and land development projects, we are looking for individuals who take pride in their workmanship, work well within a team and are committed to delivering quality outcomes.

You will be involved in a diverse range of construction activities, including earthworks, drainage, concreting, streetscapes, parklands, playgrounds and landscape construction.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with civil and landscape construction works, including site preparation, earthworks, drainage, concreting and general landscaping.

- Undertake planting, mulching, turfing, edging and associated landscape construction activities.

- Operate hand tools, power tools and small plant equipment safely and efficiently.

- Assist machine operators, tradespeople and supervisors with daily construction activities.

- Read and follow basic construction plans, site instructions and specifications.

- Maintain a clean, organised and protected work environment.

- Comply with Workplace Health and Safety requirements, SWMS and site procedures.

- Work collaboratively with the construction team to achieve project deadlines and quality standards.





- About You

We are looking for hardworking individuals with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to contribute to a productive team.

Essential Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in civil construction, commercial landscaping or a similar construction environment.

- Construction Induction White Card.

- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.

- Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual work in outdoor conditions.

- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team.

- Ability to follow instructions, work independently when required and demonstrate initiative.

- Full Australian working rights.

Highly Regarded:

- Experience working on land development, council, government or infrastructure projects.

- Excavator, skid steer, roller or other relevant plant operator tickets.

- Experience in drainage, concreting, kerbing, retaining walls or hardscape construction.

- Experience operating small machinery and construction equipment.

- HR or MR truck licence.

- Ability to interpret basic construction drawings and set-out information.
