Technology Regulatory & Audit Engagement Manager

We are on the lookout for an experienced Regulatory & Audit Engagement Manager to join the Technology Risk team of a well-established financial services organisation.

Working closely with senior technology leaders, you'll lead regulatory and audit engagement across Technology, coordinate key regulatory interactions and oversee internal and external audit activities.

You'll play an important role in shaping engagement practices, strengthening governance and driving continuous improvement, while leading and developing a growing team.

Main Responsibilities:

- Lead regulatory and internal and external audit engagement across Technology.
- Coordinate regulatory reviews, information requests and responses
- Work with senior technology leaders to prepare for regulatory engagements
- Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Business Risk Management, Compliance, Legal and Internal Audit
- Oversee audit requests, findings, management responses and follow‑up actions through to closure.
- Maintain oversight of regulatory commitments, audit deliverables, deadlines and outstanding actions.
- Prepare reporting and updates for senior management on regulatory engagement, audit activity, key risks and progress.
- Provide practical guidance on regulatory expectations and compliance obligations relevant to Technology.
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement processes, audit practices, governance and technology controls.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of direct reports, supporting priorities and delivery across the function.

Key Skills Required:

- Significant experience in regulatory engagement, audit, risk, compliance or assurance
- Experience working in banking, superannuation or insurance organizations
- Robust understanding of APRA prudential requirements and regulatory expectations relevant to Technology,



information security and operational resilience.
- Proven experience managing complex regulatory reviews, information requests and audit engagements involving senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including setting priorities, coaching team members and driving outcomes.
- Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CA, CPA or CIA would be well regarded
