Task & responsibilities

- Consult with management, users and stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements for digital platforms and internal information systems.
- Analyse existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to operational procedures and system functionality.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process maps, use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria for software developers and technical teams.
- Analyse requirements relating to online comparison services for electricity, gas, broadband, solar and health insurance.
- Work with developers and technology providers to communicate requirements, clarify system functionality and support the implementation of business solutions.
- Assist in planning and coordinating ICT projects, including requirements, deliverables, timelines and implementation activities.
- Develop test plans and test cases, coordinate user acceptance testing, identify system defects and verify that implemented solutions meet business requirements.
- Prepare and maintain business requirements documents, system specifications, process documentation, user guides and testing reports.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements,



integrations and process improvements to support changing business needs.
- Support system implementation, stakeholder communication, user training and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualification & experience

- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in ICT business analysis, business systems analysis or a related field.
- Knowledge of business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, process modelling and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience analysing business processes, documenting functional requirements, preparing system specifications and supporting software testing and implementation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Familiarity with data analysis, project management tools and user acceptance testing.
