Hobart

Key Requirements

- You must be able to work from a Hobart office and accept the Customer's site security and confidentiality requirements — no fully remote arrangement.
- Proven senior BA chops: current-state and future-state process mapping (BPMN or equivalent), requirements elicitation with MoSCoW prioritisation, and full traceability from stakeholder need to roadmap initiative.
- Strong stakeholder facilitation skills across both industry participants and public sector staff — you'll be running workshops and interviews with fishers, processors and government teams.

The GigG'day, process-mapping legends!

Cloud Delivered is on the hunt for a sharp Senior Business Analyst to join a cracking digital transformation gig in Hobart, TAS. This one's got real-world impact written all over it.

Picture this:

You're embedded with a Tasmanian state government team working alongside Seafood Industry Tasmania, fishers, processors and a seasoned Enterprise Architect. Your mission? Build the evidence base for a Digital Transition Roadmap that modernises wild catch fisheries licensing and administration across Tasmania. You'll map the messy current state, uncover the pain points, capture what every stakeholder actually needs, and design the future-state processes that feed directly into options analysis, a costed roadmap and an executive-ready final report.

This is a fixed-term contract running 1 December 2026 to 31 March 2027, based out of the Customer's Hobart office with hybrid flexibility via secure VPN. Some regional stakeholder travel may be on the cards.

You'll own deliverables — current-state process maps and assessment, future-state operating model and process maps — and you'll support the options analysis, roadmap, cost model and final report. Every requirement you write gets a unique ID, a MoSCoW rating and a traceable stakeholder source. Neat, documented, handed over in editable form. That's the standard.

We know because we do.

We've been ICT contractors ourselves. We know what a genuinely senior BA looks like: someone who can run a workshop with a room full of sceptical industry stakeholders in the morning, write a crisp executive summary in the afternoon, and still keep the requirements register airtight. If that's you, we want to talk.

The role sits within a small, focused team — you'll work closely with an Enterprise Architect, the Customer's project team and SIT. No project management, no change management leadership — pure BA craft.

If you tick the essentials below, we'll help you excel.

Reach out directly — we move fast and we back our candidates hard.
