About Urblo

Urblo is an innovative, design-led stone solutions company based in Melbourne, specialising in streetscape and civic landscape projects. We work closely with landscape architects and designers — from early design conversations through to material supply, delivery and installation. We’re a small, fast-moving team in a period of rapid growth, where every role has a direct impact on the outcome.

What’s in it for you

- Real earning potential — as you build your own portfolio of studios, you move onto commission on every specification that converts. Your relationships become your income.
- Work directly alongside the founder — you’ll sit in on design conversations and client meetings from day one, seeing how a design-led brand builds relationships and wins work. No layers of reporting; your ideas and effort are visible.
- Grow with the business — Urblo is scaling quickly. You’ll be trained directly by the founder and build towards running your own accounts. This is a role designed to grow someone, not to slot in a finished product.
- Not a desk job — the week is a mix of office, design studio visits, builder meetings, and time on job sites.
- A workspace that opens doors — you’ll be based at Waterman Chadstone, a premium coworking space with weekly networking events and regular learning sessions. Your membership, along with any relevant industry training and events, is covered by us.

What you’ll be doing

This is a sales role. Your job is to get Urblo specified by landscape architects — starting alongside the founder, and building towards your own portfolio of studios.

- Visiting design studios and architects with the founder, learning how these conversations work,

and progressively taking the lead on your own accounts
- Proactively finding and approaching new studios — research, outreach, and getting in the door
- Following up on quotes and specifications until they convert
- Managing delivery on confirmed orders — tracking timelines from purchase order through to arrival and installation, and flagging issues early
- Maintaining ongoing relationships with contractor clients: following up on project progress, gathering feedback and reviews
- Keeping our CRM (Pipedrive) up to date, and working with our internal tools and processes, including AI-assisted systems designed to cut down repetitive admin.

What we’re looking for

- You want to be in sales. This role is about building relationships and winning work, not processing it. You’re comfortable approaching people you don’t know, and you don’t mind hearing no.
- You want to be taught. You’ll learn this industry and this way of selling directly from the founder — the material, the design conversation, the way a specification actually happens. That takes someone who wants mentoring more than autonomy, at least to start.
- Some experience in sales, business development or account management — any industry, any level. We care more about whether you’ve sold something than how senior you were when you did it.
- Confident, clear communicator,

written and verbal — you’ll be in rooms with designers and contractors, and you’ll need to hold your own
- A fast learner who’s comfortable picking up a new industry — no stone or construction background required
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, and comfortable juggling several projects and deadlines at once
- Curious about AI and automation tools, with some practical familiarity
- Comfortable with everyday software — spreadsheets, presentations, email. We use Pipedrive as our CRM; prior experience is a plus, but you’ll only need to use it, not set it up
- A driver’s licence and access to a car — the role involves regular travel across Melbourne
- Permanent working rights in Australia
- A background in landscape architecture or architecture is a bonus, not a requirement. If you’ve studied or worked in design and are looking for a path beyond drafting — one where your design literacy becomes a genuine commercial advantage — this role is built for exactly that.

Not required

- Prior experience in stone or construction supply
- Technical drawing skills — product training is provided

Hours & location

- Full-time preferred, part-time considered (3–4 days)
- Based at Waterman Chadstone, with regular travel across Melbourne

Remuneration & growth

- Market-competitive salary based on experience, plus super
- Beyond year one: as you build the confidence to develop your own designer relationships, you’ll move onto an incentive plan — commission on specifications that convert to orders from the studios in your portfolio. For the right person, this is where the earning potential opens up significantly.
