Role Description The Senior Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW. This position oversees end-to-end delivery of cooling tower projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards, as well as monitoring site progress, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The role involves leading project meetings, preparing status reports, supporting inspections and testing activities, and maintaining strong client communication throughout the project lifecycle.



The Senior Project Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement in project processes, risk management, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated proficiency in Project Management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience with Expediting and working as an Expeditor to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
- Strong skills in Inspection processes, with the ability to oversee quality checks and compliance for mechanical and industrial projects.
- Background in Logistics Management, including scheduling, supply chain coordination, and site delivery planning.
- Proven experience managing construction or industrial projects, ideally within HVAC, cooling towers, or building services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to guide multi-disciplinary teams.
- Solid understanding of workplace health and safety standards and regulatory compliance in Australia.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficiency with project management software and standard office productivity tools.
