Role Description The Senior Pest Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Toodyay, WA, responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest and weed issues, and implementing appropriate treatment plans. Daily tasks include conducting thorough site assessments, applying chemical and non-chemical treatments, setting traps and monitoring devices, and documenting service details in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements. The role involves direct interaction with customers to explain findings, provide recommendations, and ensure a clear understanding of treatment plans and follow-up needs. The Senior Pest Technician also supports junior team members through coaching, helps maintain vehicles and equipment,



and contributes to continuous improvement of service standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in pest and weed control, including inspection, identification of pests and weeds, and application of appropriate treatment methods.
- Knowledge of safe handling, storage, and application of pesticides and herbicides, with strong adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to manage service routes, maintain accurate records, and use basic digital tools or mobile applications for job documentation.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and build professional relationships.
- Proven ability to work independently in the field, prioritize tasks, and solve problems in varied outdoor and indoor environments.
- Previous experience mentoring or guiding less experienced technicians is highly beneficial.
- Relevant certifications or licenses for pest management and chemical application in Western Australia, or eligibility and willingness to obtain them.
- Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record, with the ability to travel locally as required.
- Physical ability to perform fieldwork, including climbing, lifting equipment, and working in confined or elevated spaces.
