About the role

Henderson Medical Clinic is seeking a friendly, organised and reliable Medical Centre Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has previous reception experience, and can communicate confidently in both Vietnamese and English to assist our diverse patient community. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic and providing a welcoming, professional experience for our patients.

Key responsibilities

- Welcome patients and provide friendly, professional customer service.

- Manage incoming phone calls, patient enquiries and appointment bookings.

- Register patients and maintain accurate patient records.

- Process patient payments and Medicare billing where required.

- Liaise with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals.

- Manage appointment schedules, correspondence and general administrative tasks.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy requirements.

- Assist with the daily operations of the medical centre.





About you

- Fluent in both Vietnamese and English, with strong verbal communication skills.

- Previous experience in reception, administration or customer service is essential.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

- Friendly, approachable and professional manner.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.

- Comfortable using computers and learning practice management software.

- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Previous medical reception experience and familiarity with Medicare billing are highly regarded.
