We are looking for a motivated law student to join our team in a casual Law Clerk position.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to get their teeth stuck into a broad range of legal work, gain practical experience and develop their skills in a professional legal environment.

We are looking for someone who is driven, hardworking and confident, with a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn. You will be someone who takes initiative, is comfortable getting involved and can adapt easily as priorities and situations change.

About you

Ideally, you will:

- Be currently studying a Bachelor of Laws or equivalent;

- Have some previous experience in a law firm, professional office or similar environment;

- Be organised and able to effectively manage your time and competing priorities;

- Be confident communicating professionally by telephone and email;

- Have robust written and verbal communication skills;

- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and the broader Microsoft 365 suite;

- Be able to remain calm, practical and organised when things get busy;

- Be adaptable and willing to assist across different areas of legal work;





- Have the confidence to take initiative rather than always waiting to be told what to do; and

- Be someone who contributes positively to a professional, collaborative and supportive workplace.

The role

As a Law Clerk, you will have the opportunity to assist with a variety of legal and administrative work. Depending on your experience and development, this may include legal research, drafting correspondence and documents, assisting with file management, communicating with clients and other stakeholders, preparing documents and generally supporting solicitors across a range of matters.

We are particularly interested in someone who wants to learn by doing and is keen to develop practical skills alongside their university studies.

This is a casual position and would suit a law student looking to build meaningful, hands-on experience while completing their degree.
