About the role

Hera Workforce is a newly established, licensed Victorian labour hire company preparing to enter the construction industry. We are seeking an experienced Construction Labour Hire Consultant to work directly with the founder to develop and execute our market-entry strategy. This is a hands-on consulting chance for someone with extensive industry knowledge, established relationships and a proven track record in construction labour hire.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and implement a construction labour hire market-entry strategy.
- Identify and engage prospective clients, including principal contractors, subcontractors and construction companies.
- Leverage existing industry relationships to develop business opportunities.
- Identify high-demand construction roles and workforce requirements.
- Advise on industry-specific requirements, including enterprise agreements (EBAs), awards and site compliance.
- Develop labour hire pricing structures, commercial models and client engagement processes.
- Assist in establishing recruitment strategies and a suitable workforce pipeline.
- Recommend operational systems, processes and procedures to support business growth.




- Work closely with the founder to establish a scalable and commercially viable business.

About you

- Extensive experience in the Victorian construction labour hire industry.
- A proven track record in business development, operations or establishing and growing labour hire businesses.
- Strong existing relationships with construction contractors and industry decision-makers.
- A sound understanding of Victorian construction industry awards, EBAs and industrial relations requirements.
- Experience developing labour hire pricing, workforce strategies and client acquisition processes.
- Strong commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial approach.
- The ability to work independently and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Previous experience owning, managing or scaling a construction labour hire business will be highly regarded.
