About the role
Weekend role - with a view to part time during the week
Transport scheduling and coordination role involving planning and coordinating weekend transport schedules, routes and vehicle allocations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate weekend transport schedules, routes and vehicle allocations
- Ensure pickups, deliveries and transport services operate on time
- Respond to last-minute booking changes, delays and urgent transport requests
- Track airfreight bookings
- Send pre alerts
- Coordinate additional transport requirements when needed
- Allocate jobs and routes to drivers
- Communicate daily instructions, route changes and operational updates
- Communicate closely with customers
