Full time | Permanent | Fully remote | $120,000 – $140,000
A rare prospect exists for an experienced company secretary and compliance professional to take ownership of a critical function within a growing finance and investment group.
About Embrace Capital
Embrace Capital is an Australian finance and investment company. For over 10 years we have raised capital from wholesale investors to fund residential property development, with around 1,600 lots in our current pipeline. We are now expanding into business acquisitions and MedTech investment.
Each project is held in its own company or trust, and the group operates across a growing number of entities. This role will suit someone who is comfortable working autonomously, enjoys bringing structure to a fast-moving commercial environment, and takes pride in getting the detail right.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day company secretarial, compliance and governance administration across the group, along with a range of operational tasks that support the business as it grows.
This is a hands-on role with genuine ownership. You will report directly to our Director and work closely with our Chief Operating Officer.

- Maintain statutory registers, unit and share registers, director consents, minutes and resolutions
- Maintain a compliance calendar to ensure obligations are met on time
Compliance

Operations and systems
- Bringing order to our document and folder structures across every entity
- Driving admin projects through to completion, e.g. bank feeds, bank signatory changes and accounting system access, working with our accountants and IT contractor
- Writing simple procedures so the work is repeatable as we grow
- Picking up whatever needs doing, including tasks outside a traditional compliance job description
Our working environment
We are a small and growing team working remotely from home offices across South East Queensland. You will have the opportunity to design and implement the group’s governance and compliance framework from the ground up.
The role suits someone who is comfortable working independently, managing their own priorities and keeping matters progressing. Our directors manage several active projects at once, and some matters may require a prompt response outside standard hours. You will have direct access to leadership for decisions.

depending on experience
- Full-time, permanent employment
- Fully remote work with autonomy and flexibility
