Singing & Performance Coach

Location: South Brisbane, QLD

Music Roof is a welcoming music community where people of all ages build confidence, develop their skills and discover their own artistic voice. We’re looking for a coach who genuinely enjoys helping people grow through music, who has experience with Advanced Performance skills.

This is a casual contractor position with regular hours, weekdays/weekends and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging one-on-one and small group music coaching sessions
- Develop students’ vocal technique, musicianship and performance skills
- Support students with repertoire selection and artistic development
- Build positive, encouraging relationships with students
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive studio environment

What we’re looking for

- At least one year of relevant coaching or teaching experience (preferred)
- Experience in singing, songwriting, performance or artist development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional and organised
- Passion for mentoring and inspiring others
- An ABN (or willingness to obtain one)
- Police Check, or willingness to obtain one

Formal qualifications are welcome but not essential. We value practical experience,



strong musicianship and the ability to connect with students.
