THE SHORT VERSION

We are a commercial grounds maintenance business working for developers, builders and industrial properties across Sydney. We need two experienced operators who turn up on time, do the job properly without being watched. If that's you, read on. If you need managing, this isn't the role.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Ride-on mowing (zero-turn, lap-bar) on industrial estates, development land and multi-site portfolios
- Slashing and mowing inside and around OSD/detention basins, swales and drainage assets, including batters and wet ground
- Edging, brushcutting (whipper snipping) and hedge trimming
- Rubbish collection, illegal-dumping removal and tip runs
- Blowing down and leaving sites clean and presentable
- Pre-start checks, basic servicing and cleaning of all machinery
- Dated before-and-after photos on every site, sent the same day. This is how our clients see the work
- Following SWMS and site inductions on live construction sites
- Occasional site-establishment work: temporary fencing, watering, dust suppression

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Must have:

- Minimum 2 years commercial grounds, greenkeeping or landscape maintenance experience
- Competent on a lap-bar zero-turn mower. You'll be assessed on it at the interview
- Comfortable operating the full kit: zero-turn, walk-behind and slasher/flail mowers, brushcutters, hedge trimmers, blowers, pole saw and chainsaw
- Current NSW driver's licence,

- White Card (construction induction) for site access
- Physically fit for a full outdoor day in summer
- Reliable, on time, and able to work unsupervised
- Own reliable vehicle to travel between sites. Vehicle allowance paid per kilometre at the award rate for all work-related travel, and travel time between sites is paid time

Nice to have:

- MR licence
- Chainsaw ticket
- First aid certificate
- Basic mechanical skills: blades, belts, servicing
- Chemical accreditation (ChemCert / AQF3 pesticide units) or willing to obtain before start.

WHAT YOU GET

- $35 per hour + superannuation, paid weekly
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, early starts and early finishes
- Annual bonus of up to $3,000, measured against four easy KPIs and reviewed with you each quarter

Pay: $35.00 per hour
