We are seeking a Retail Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Atelier Store and help deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects our brand's focus on quality, design, and thoughtful service.

The successful candidate will oversee retail operations, sales performance, inventory, merchandising, staff management, purchasing, and financial administration. You will play an important role in maintaining the store's presentation and service standards while identifying opportunities to grow sales and strengthen customer loyalty.

Some of the duties and responsibilities are:

- Plan, direct, and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring sales targets, customer service standards, and business objectives are consistently achieved.
- Determine appropriate product ranges, product mix, stock levels, and service standards, with consideration for customer preferences, seasonal trends, and Atelier Store's design aesthetic.
- Manage stock across the retail floor and storage areas, implementing effective inventory control processes to minimise shrinkage, reduce stock discrepancies, and maintain product availability.
- Formulate and implement purchasing strategies and policies, working with suppliers to ensure appropriate product availability, quality, pricing, and timely delivery.
- Develop and implement sales, upselling, cross-selling, seasonal, and promotional initiatives to increase revenue and improve overall store performance.
- Coordinate with suppliers and relevant stakeholders to organise promotional activities, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and other sales opportunities.
- Assist in setting and reviewing product pricing in line with purchasing costs, market conditions, promotional strategies, and business objectives.
- Promote and advertise Atelier Store's products and services through appropriate in-store and marketing activities.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently maintained,



creating a welcoming, organised, and visually appealing environment aligned with the Atelier Store brand.
- Sell home décor products and related merchandise while providing customers with knowledgeable and personalised advice regarding product selection, styling, functionality, and use.
- Monitor and analyse sales results, customer trends, stock performance, and key performance indicators, providing recommendations to management to improve revenue and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, purchases, financial transactions, and other relevant business information.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including cash handling, banking, reconciliation, and point-of-sale procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal processes.
- Undertake budgeting and assist with financial planning for the store, including monitoring expenditure and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
- Recruit, select, train, supervise, and motivate retail staff, ensuring team members understand their responsibilities and consistently deliver high-quality customer service.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively and foster a productive, collaborative, and customer-focused team environment.
- Ensure staff are appropriately trained in product knowledge, customer service, sales techniques, store procedures, and workplace safety.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements, implementing safe work practices, staff training, and appropriate risk-mitigation measures throughout the store.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalated service matters professionally and efficiently, implementing appropriate service strategies to maintain customer satisfaction and protect the reputation of Atelier Store.
- Identify opportunities to improve store processes, customer experience, product presentation, and overall retail performance.

Pay: $79,423.00 per year
