About the role : Mad Monkey Kings Cross is looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Full-Time Receptionist to join our team for a 2-month temporary position .

What you'll be doing :

- Welcoming guests and creating a positive first impression of the hostel
- Managing check-ins, check-outs, and room allocations
- Processing bookings, cancellations, and modifications
- Handling cash, EFTPOS, and daily financial reports
- Resolving guest concerns and complaints professionally
- Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are guest-ready
- Maintaining accurate guest records and reservation information
- Assisting with hostel events and guest engagement activities




- Ensuring reception and common areas remain clean, organised, and welcoming
- Supporting management with administrative tasks and reporting
- Training and supporting new team members when required

What we're looking for :

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work versatile shifts, including evenings and weekends

- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

- Previous hostel, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred

- Cloudbeds experience is highly desirable :

- Full working rights in Australia

- Fluent English, additional languages are a bonus

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
