Position Information : Berinba Public School is a vibrant and inclusive learning community in Yass, just 45 minutes from Canberra, where every learner is known, valued, and supported to grow. With 232 students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, our school is grounded in a shared commitment to creating a safe, connected, and forward-thinking environment.

- Demonstrated expertise to lead evidence based, future focused quality teaching practices to provide enrichment opportunities, differentiated curriculum and maximise learning outcomes for all students within and beyond the school context.
- A highly visible, collaborative and inspiring leader who demonstrates success in building positive relationships and promoting effective partnerships that enhance the wellbeing of students and the school community.

General Selection Criteria :

1. High level educational leadership with the skills to lead and manage a complex public school focused on the delivery of high quality education

1. Ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs

2. High level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage all levels of the school and educational community

3. Ability to lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning

4. Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning

5. Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education policy and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
