About the Role We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Aged Care Support Worker / Cleaner to provide in-home support to elderly clients. This role focuses on enhancing quality of life, promoting independence, and maintaining safe, clean living environments in accordance with aged care standards.

This is a meaningful role suited to someone who is caring, respectful, and committed to supporting older Australians to live independently at home.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide person-centred care in line with individual care plans
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility support
- Deliver social support and companionship
- Perform domestic assistance tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining hygienic living spaces
- Observe and report changes in client health or wellbeing
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow organisational policies and procedures
- Uphold dignity, privacy, and respect for all clients

About You

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community, or equivalent) - essential
- Previous experience in aged care, home care, or community support




- Understanding of person-centred care and aged care quality standards
- Empathetic, patient, and culturally aware
- Reliable, with strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in clients’ homes

Mandatory Requirements

- Current National Police Check
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain, if required)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination (in line with aged care requirements)

Desirable

- Experience with dementia care and/or palliative support
- Knowledge of My Aged Care, CHSP, or Home Care Packages
