Saltwater Sushi & Oyster Bar is a busy and well-established seafood venue located in the Queen Victoria Market food court. We are currently looking for an experienced Sushi maker to join our team.
About the Role: You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi in a fast-paced food court setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing sushi (rolls, nigiri, sashimi, hand rolls)
- Fish cutting and handling
- Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
- Assisting with stock control and prep
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a sushi maker (essential)
- Confident with knife skills and sushi preparation
- Ability to work quick and clean under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Knowledge of food safety standards
