Takeyourelectricalcareerundergroundwithawell-establishedminingoperationinWesternAustralia.Thisopportunityissuitedtoqualifiedelectricianswhoenjoytechnicallydemandingwork,modernmachineryandahands-onmaintenanceenvironment.

Youwillworkacrossundergroundoperationssupportingtheavailabilityandreliabilityofelectricalsystemsandminingequipment.Withmodernequipmentandongoinginvestmentintechnology,thisroleprovidesanopportunitytodevelopyourtechnicalcapabilitywhilebuildingasecurelong-termcareer.

Permanentfull-timepositionsareavailableona7/7or2/2rosterwith12-hourshifts.ResidentialopportunitiesinKalgoorlieandFIFOfromPerthareavailable.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect,maintainandrepairundergroundelectricalequipment
- Performelectricalfaultfindingandtroubleshooting
- Completeplannedpreventativemaintenanceactivities
- Diagnoseelectricalandcontrolsystemfaults
- Assistwithcommissioningandinstallationofelectricalequipment
- Maintainundergroundelectricalinfrastructureandassociatedsystems
- Ensureelectricalequipmentremainssafe,compliantandoperational
- Completeelectricaltestingandinspections




- Respondtobreakdownsandminimiseequipmentdowntime
- Workwithmaintenanceteamstoidentifyandresolverecurringfaults
- Applyelectricalisolationandsafeworkprocedures
- Keepmaintenancedocumentationandrecordsuptodate
- Supportthesafeandefficientoperationofmodernundergroundminingequipment

Requirements & Eligibility
- Australian-recognisedelectricaltradequalification
- CurrentAGradeWAElectricalLicence
- Minimum3years'industryexperience
- Miningexperiencedesirable
- Undergroundminingexperiencehighlyregarded
- CurrentCClassManualDriver'sLicence
- HVSwitchingticketdesirable
- WorkingatHeightscertificationdesirable
- HighRiskWorkLicencedesirable
- Strongtechnicaltroubleshootingandproblem-solvingability
- Commitmenttosafetyandelectricalcompliance
- Willingnesstowork12-hourshiftsona7/7or2/2roster
