Autobahn Mechanical and Electrical Services Banksia Grove and Mindarie are seeking an experienced 2IC / Senior Automotive Mechanic to join the teams at our market leading service centres located in Banksia Grove and Mindarie. The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and professional 2IC / Senior Automotive Mechanic to join our successful and growing teams. This is your prospect to boost your career in a purpose built well equipped workshop. Applicants with strong light vehicle maintenance experience are required and either experienced at being a 2IC, or are ready for the next step up.

The ideal candidate is proactive rather than reactive, customer-focused, and takes genuine pride in delivering high quality workmanship, personally and by leading the team. You must be capable of performing mechanical servicing and repairs across all makes and models in a fast-paced, quality driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing guidance to other mechanics.
- Providing support and assistance to store manager.
- Alternating Saturdays running the workshop with the manager.
- Answering phone calls and providing customer assistance as necessary.
- Carry out service and repairs on all makes and models.
- Diagnose vehicle faults.
- Follow correct procedures and guidelines.

About you:

- Light Vehicle Mechanic Experience (minimum 5 years)
- Full Australian Manual Drivers License
- Capable of working autonomously, and leading a great team
- Excellent team player with great communication skills including with customers
- Hard-working, with a commitment to learning and perfecting your skillset
- Australian Level Trade qualification required (Must have)
- A/C & MR Licenses would be advantages.
- Available to work Monday-Friday plus rotational Saturday mornings.
