This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, keeping things organised and being part of a supportive team.
Working closely with our Finance & Corporate Services Manager, you'll assist with day-to-day accounts processing, travel bookings and general office administration.
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, solid attention to detail and a willingness to learn. You don't need to be an accountant — just someone who enjoys administration, takes pride in their work and is happy to lend a hand.
About the role
This is a permanent part-time position based at our Thebarton office, working approximately 25 hours per week.
Your responsibilities will include
- Accounts payable: Processing supplier invoices, checking statements, preparing payment information and responding to routine supplier enquiries.
- Accounts receivable: Assisting with customer invoice reconciliations, recording payments and maintaining accurate records.
- Travel coordination: Booking flights, accommodation and transport, managing changes and preparing travel itineraries.
- Artist payments: Assisting with the processing of weekly artist payments to Art Centres.
- General administration: Helping with incoming phone calls, enquiries, electronic filing and other day-to-day office tasks.
You'll be working alongside our finance team, with guidance and training provided.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent attention to detail and enjoys accurate data entry.
- Is organised, reliable and able to manage routine tasks and deadlines.
- Is comfortable using email, Excel and computer-based systems.
- Has a friendly,
approachable manner and communicates well with others.
- Enjoys working as part of a team and is happy to assist where needed.
- Can handle confidential information professionally.
Previous experience in accounts administration, bookkeeping or data entry would be great, but isn't essential. Experience with MYOB would be an advantage, although training will be provided. A formal accounting qualification is not required.

- A friendly, supportive team and training in our systems and processes.
- Variety in your day, with a mix of accounts, travel and general administration.
- Meaningful work supporting Aboriginal artists and their communities.
- Salary packaging opportunities, subject to eligibility.
