About the opportunity

You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of business clients, delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and advisory services. Depending on your experience, you'll take ownership of client work, manage competing priorities, provide practical advice and work closely with a supportive team.

For experienced accountants, this includes independently managing client jobs from start to finish, applying sound technical judgement and identifying opportunities to improve processes and client outcomes.

What you'll be doing

Your responsibilities will vary depending on your level of experience and may include:

- Preparing financial statements, income tax returns, BAS and supporting workpapers.
- Managing accounting and tax compliance work across a portfolio of clients.
- Taking ownership of client jobs, ensuring work is accurate, well-organised and completed on time.
- Preparing financial analysis, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
- Applying your knowledge of Australian taxation legislation, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Liaising with clients, the ATO and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Building strong client relationships through proactive communication, regular updates and timely follow-up.
- Managing multiple deadlines while maintaining quality, efficiency and attention to detail.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce rework and enhance client service.
- Collaborating with colleagues and, where appropriate,



mentoring and supporting junior accountants.

What we're looking for We're interested in accountants at different stages of their careers who demonstrate:

- Relevant accounting qualifications or current studies towards an accounting degree.
- Public practice accounting experience appropriate to the level of the role.
- Sound technical accounting and taxation knowledge, with the ability to apply it practically.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, along with Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, learning and continuous improvement.
- A positive, collaborative attitude and genuine commitment to client service.

CA or CPA qualifications, or progress towards completing them, will be highly regarded for relevant roles. For our intermediate and senior opportunities, we're particularly interested in accountants who can confidently manage client jobs with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgement and take responsibility for delivering quality outcomes.

For leadership roles, we're looking for people who enjoy developing others, coordinating workloads and building robust client relationships.
