Velocity Healthcare Workforce (VSS) is recruiting experienced Disability Support Workers for agency placements across Supported Independent Living (SIL), community access and in-home support services.

Velocity Healthcare Workforce operates through Velocity Support Services, which will be your employer and manage your pay.

We are seeking reliable, compassionate workers who can adapt to different environments and deliver safe, respectful, person-centred support.

Service Areas:

- Ipswich
- Brisbane
- Gold Coast

About the role Depending on the placement and individual support plan, your duties may include:

- Supporting personal care, daily routines and household tasks.
- Assisting participants to access appointments and community activities.
- Promoting independence, choice and control.
- Following support plans and behaviour support strategies.
- Assisting with medication within your training and authorised responsibilities.
- Completing accurate progress notes and incident reports.
- Working collaboratively with participants, families and host provider teams.

What you will bring

- Previous paid experience in disability support.
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or a relevant qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening clearance.




- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- A current Australian driver’s licence and reliable transport to attend shifts.
- Australian working rights.
- Robust communication, documentation and professional boundary skills.
- Reliability and confidence working across different teams and settings.

Shift availability Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, active nights and sleepovers.

Agency shifts are offered according to participant needs, host provider requirements and your suitability and availability. Hours are not guaranteed.
