TAS plays a critical role in strengthening the Office's audit and governance capabilities by providing expert technical advice on accounting, auditing, and governance matters. The unit supports the development and implementation of professional standards, audit methodologies, and quality assurance practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of audit quality and consistency across the OAG.

We're looking for a technically strong accounting professional who can analyse complex issues, provide trusted advice, influence policy and practice, and build capability across the Office.

This is an exciting prospect to work with a highly skilled team and make a meaningful contribution to the integrity and effectiveness of OAG’s audit function.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

your knowledge of contemporary auditing and assurance standards, principles and practices identification of opportunities to add value to auditing practices provision of complex information including presentations to a range of internal and external stakeholders

We currently have 1 full-time, permanent position available.

This process may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies (permanent, fixed term, full-time or part-time) within 12 months of the date of completion of the recruitment process.
