This is an opportunity to work alongside leading practitioners, advise prominent property owners and institutional landlords, and develop your expertise across sophisticated, high-value disputes.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial property disputes, working closely with experienced partners and gaining exposure to complex litigation from strategy through to resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial, retail and industrial leasing disputes, including lease breaches, termination and make valuable claims.
- Advise on property development disputes, contractual interpretation and retail leasing legislation.
- Prepare pleadings, affidavits, witness statements and other litigation documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, urgent interlocutory applications and alternative dispute resolution.
- Manage client relationships and deliver commercially focused outcomes across a premium client base.
About You
- Australian qualified lawyer with 4–6 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation, disputes or property litigation.
- Experience in property and leasing disputes is highly regarded.
- Strong drafting, analytical and advocacy skills, with confidence managing complex litigation matters.
- Excellent client management, communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach and the ability to work collaboratively with partners and junior lawyers.
