About the role

As part of the Customer team, the Authorised Officer Crew Leader is responsible for providing on-shift supervision and mentoring to Authorised Officers while supporting the Team Leader in administering the Authorised Officer Management System. The role works closely with V/Line management to ensure customers experience a protected and trouble-free journey and contributes to the development and implementation of operational and customer service initiatives.

Key responsibilities

- Provide on-shift supervision and mentoring to Authorised Officers

- Support the Team Leader in administering the Authorised Officer Management System

- Work closely with V/Line management to ensure customers experience a safe and trouble-free journey

- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational and customer service initiatives

- Support Authorised Officers in meeting their obligations to deter anti-social behaviour, crime, vandalism, and fare evasion

- Maintain a visible presence and ensure accurate reporting under the Victorian Transport Act and Regulations
