About the Role

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for installing, servicing and troubleshooting a wide range of vehicle electrical systems and accessories.

Your Responsibilities

- Installation of warning lights, beacons and light bars
- Driving lights, work lights and auxiliary lighting systems
- Emergency vehicle warning and siren systems
- Smart switch panels and vehicle control systems
- Electric brake controllers and trailer wiring
- Dual battery and battery management systems




- Power inverters and power management solutions
- GPS tracking, telematics and fleet management equipment
- Cellular signal boosters and communications systems
- UHF radios, antennas and accessories
- Electrical diagnostics and fault finding
- Reading wiring diagrams and technical documentation
- Maintaining high workshop safety and quality standards

Highly Regarded

- Automotive Electrical Trade Qualification
- Experience with fleet or commercial vehicle fit-outs
- Experience with Redarc, GME, Hella, Narva, Enerdrive or similar products
- CANBUS knowledge

While an Automotive Electrical Trade Qualification will be highly regarded, we welcome applications from experienced candidates with a robust background in vehicle electrical accessories, diagnostics, and 12V systems. Relevant hands-on industry experience will be considered.
