MASH. Brewing is an award-winning brewery with 20 years of brewing history in Western Australia’s Swan Valley. As one of the region’s original craft breweries, we combine onsite beer production with an established bar and restaurant. An opportunity like this rarely becomes available at MASH. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Brewer to take responsibility for producing the MASH. core range and seasonal releases, alongside Custard & Co ginger beer and alcoholic iced teas.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in an established, locally owned brewery, working alongside a passionate operations team, the general manager and our owners. You will take ownership of day-to-day production, maintain the quality of our established favourites and bring your creativity and technical skill to future releases.

About the role

Working closely with management, you will be responsible for day-to-day brewing and beverage production, from planning and raw materials through to finished product.

Your responsibilities will include

- Brewing the MASH. core range to established recipes and quality standards.
- Developing and brewing seasonal beers and limited releases in collaboration with management.
- Producing Custard & Co ginger beer and alcoholic iced teas, ensuring consistent flavour, quality and specifications.
- Planning and coordinating production schedules to meet venue and wholesale demand.
- Managing brewing, fermentation, blending, transfers, filtration,



carbonation and packaging as required across the range.
- Conducting quality control checks and maintaining accurate production, cleaning and stock records.
- Monitoring ingredient and packaging inventory and coordinating supplies.
- Maintaining high standards of cleaning, sanitation and workplace safety.
- Monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting issues and coordinating maintenance.
- Working with management and the sales team to support product availability and current releases.

About you

You take pride in producing consistently high-quality drinks and bring a practical, organised approach to brewery operations. You are comfortable working independently, taking responsibility for production and contributing ideas.

You will bring

- Demonstrated commercial brewing experience and the ability to manage daily production independently.
- A thorough understanding of brewing, fermentation, sanitation, quality control and packaging.
- An interest in producing a varied range of beverages, including ginger beer and alcoholic iced teas.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- Effective production planning and time management skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and a practical approach to troubleshooting.




- Clear communication and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A commitment to safe working practices.
- A current full driver’s licence.

Relevant brewing qualifications, experience across a range of beverage production processes, and a forklift licence are desirable.
