Our client is a leading global technology consulting and professional services organisation delivering enterprise-scale cyber security, identity governance and digital transformation programs across Australia.

They are currently seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management Business Analyst to support a major SailPoint IdentityIQ implementation and application onboarding program.

About the Role

This role will focus on engaging business stakeholders, application owners and technical teams to gather, analyse and document requirements associated with onboarding applications into a SailPoint IdentityIQ environment.

You will act as the bridge between the business and technical delivery teams, ensuring that identity governance requirements are translated into practical and effective SailPoint solutions.

The role will suit an experienced Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Identity and Access Management, user provisioning, access governance and application onboarding initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyse and document IAM and SailPoint onboarding requirements.
- Conduct application discovery workshops with stakeholders and application owners.
- Assess application readiness, access models and integration requirements.
- Document provisioning, deprovisioning and access governance requirements.
- Define business and functional requirements for SailPoint integrations.
- Produce business requirements documents, process maps, use cases and user stories.
- Support role mining, entitlement analysis and RBAC design activities.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to define integration solutions.
- Assist in defining approval workflows and identity lifecycle processes.
- Support SIT, UAT and defect management activities.
- Identify risks, dependencies and onboarding constraints.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, governance and segregation of duties requirements.




- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and provide regular project updates.

The Successful Candidate You will be an experienced Business Analyst who combines strong stakeholder engagement skills with a solid understanding of Identity and Access Management and access governance principles.

Essential Experience

- Demonstrated Business Analyst experience within IAM, cyber security or identity governance programs.
- Experience working with SailPoint IdentityIQ or similar IGA platforms.
- Strong requirements gathering and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience documenting business, functional and technical requirements.
- Understanding of user provisioning and deprovisioning processes.
- Experience supporting application onboarding initiatives.
- Exposure to RBAC, entitlement management and access governance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience producing BRDs, functional specifications, user stories and process maps.
- Experience supporting testing and business validation activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

Highly Regarded
- Previous SailPoint IdentityIQ project experience.
- Experience within financial services, consulting or large enterprise environments.
- Understanding of SCIM, LDAP, Active Directory and REST API integrations.
- Exposure to audit, compliance and identity governance programs.
- Experience working within Agile and hybrid delivery environments.
