Who We Are

We're a dedicated online tutoring provider delivering personalised one-on-one lessons, with more than 300 registered teachers already on board. Students come to us for senior secondary exam preparation (HSC, VCE, QCE, WACE and SACE), Year 1-10 English reading and writing, Maths and Science, and Scholarship and Selective School entry exam preparation.

The Role: Online 1-on-1 English Teachers, Year 1 to 12

We're growing our team and welcoming enthusiastic, experienced educators to teach English at any year level, from early primary through to Year 12, including: Years 1-10

- English reading, writing, comprehension and literature

Years 11-12

- HSC English Standard, Advanced, Extension 1, Extension 2 and EAL/D
- VCE English, EAL, Literature and English Language
- QCE English, Literature, Essential English and EAL
- SACE English, English Literary Studies, Essential English and EAL
- WACE English, Literature and EAL/D

Whether you shine at teaching young readers, guiding junior writers or coaching senior students through exams, there's a place for you here. Teachers comfortable across a range of year levels are especially welcome. Our students include Australian-born students, both native English speakers and EAL learners,



as well as international students from China.

What You'll Do

- Teach one-on-one online English lessons tailored to each student
- Help students build their reading, writing and analytical skills
- Support students with set texts, homework and exam preparation
- Follow a personalised lesson plan for each student
- Teach in person at a student's home or a local library, if you'd like this option

What We're Looking For

- A teaching degree and/or classroom experience at an Australian high school is highly regarded
- Strong exam-preparation skills and a working knowledge of at least one senior secondary English syllabus and its assessment structure (HSC, VCE, QCE, WACE or SACE)
- An excellent command of English language and literature
- Consistent weekly availability and a qualified, dependable approach
- A stable internet connection and confidence using online teaching tools

- Every student comes with tailored learning materials and an individual Student Learning Plan
- Our Teaching Assistants book your lessons and keep in touch with parents for you
- Our Teaching Assistants can help with homework marking, using answer keys we provide
- Our Learning Coordinator regularly updates parents on progress and study plans
