About the Role

NJM Group is looking for a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic Carpenter / Handyman to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

We are seeking someone who is practical, switched on, hardworking and eager to learn new skills.

The ideal candidate will have good general carpentry and handyman experience, be confident using power tools and equipment, and enjoy working on a variety of installation and construction projects.

Experience in core drilling, handrail installation and bollard installation is highly regarded, although training can be provided to the right person.

Key Responsibilities

- General carpentry, handyman and installation work.
- Installation of handrails, balustrades and associated fittings.
- Installation of bollards, including surface-mounted and in-ground bollards.
- Core drilling into concrete and other surfaces.
- Drilling, fixing, anchoring and securing various installations.
- Measuring, cutting, assembling and fitting materials accurately.
- Using hand tools, power tools and specialised installation equipment.
- Working across various construction and commercial sites.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in carpentry, handyman work or construction.
- Good practical skills and confidence using tools.
- Experience in handrail installation,



bollard installation or core drilling is an advantage.
- Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills.
- Smart, switched on and able to think independently.
- Energetic, enthusiastic and physically capable of hands-on work.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on different tasks.
- Solid attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and in a team.
- Current driver's licence preferred.
- Construction White Card preferred.
