Velocity Healthcare Workforce is seeking experienced Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses for casual agency placements with healthcare and community service providers.

Velocity Healthcare Workforce operates through Velocity Support Services, which will be your employer and manage your pay.

About the role

Your responsibilities will depend on the placement, your qualifications and clinical scope, and may include:

- Providing nursing care consistent with individual care plans.
- Administering medications and monitoring their effects.
- Delivering wound care, continence care and other clinical supports within your competence.
- Recognising changes in health and escalating concerns promptly.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and handovers.
- Following infection prevention procedures and host provider policies.
- Working collaboratively with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams.

Enrolled Nurses must work within their scope of practice under appropriate Registered Nurse supervision.

Essential requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
- A recognised nursing qualification relevant to your registration.
- At least 12 months of relevant post-registration nursing experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Evidence of clinical competence relevant to your preferred placements.
- Strong assessment, communication and documentation skills.
- Australian working rights,



with availability consistent with any visa conditions.
- Willingness to complete relevant screening, credential checks and placement orientation.

An NDIS Worker Screening clearance, Blue Card, police check, vaccination evidence or additional training may be required depending on the placement. For community placements, a current driver’s licence and reliable transport may also be required.
