About UpCare

UpCare is an established NDIS registered disability support provider delivering high-quality Supported Independent Living (SIL) and community-based supports in Palmview QLD 4553.

We're looking for 2–3 reliable, experienced Disability Support Workers to join our casual support team on the Sunshine Coast.

About the Role

This position is ideal for experienced support workers seeking additional shifts, flexible working arrangements or the opportunity to work with an established disability support provider.

You will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants living in our Supported Independent Living homes, helping them maintain independence, achieve their goals and enjoy a safe, comfortable home environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting participants with personal care, hygiene and daily living activities.
- Supporting meal preparation, household tasks and medication assistance in accordance with support plans and authorisations.
- Encouraging independence, community participation and social engagement.
- Following individual support plans, behaviour support strategies and safe work practices.
- Completing accurate shift notes and incident reports.




- Working collaboratively with participants, families and the UpCare team.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in disability support, preferably within SIL environments.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, reliable attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to cover weekday, evening, weekend and short-notice shifts.
