We are a friendly and multicultural childcare centre in Artarmon seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Casual Educator to join our team.

A permanent full-time or part-time position may be offered to the right candidate based on their performance and the centre’s ongoing staffing needs.

About You

- Hold an approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or be currently working towards it
- Have a current Working with Children Check
- Hold First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or be willing to obtain them
- Have a genuine passion for working with children
- Be reliable, flexible and able to work well in a team
- Have good communication skills
- Previous childcare experience is preferred

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education
- Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing




- Assist with daily routines and learning activities
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming setting
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Assist with staff coverage and educator-to-child ratios as required
- Follow the National Quality Framework and centre policies

Casual shifts will be offered according to the centre’s operational needs and the applicant’s availability.
