Casual Team Member – After School & Weekends

Village Bakehouse is looking for reliable and friendly casual team members to join our team. This role is ideal for school students looking for work that fits around their school commitments, with afternoon and weekend shifts available.

We're looking for team members available on weekdays between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm, with weekend availability between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm.

About the Role

You'll be involved in a range of tasks across our bakery, takeaway, drive-thru and dine-in services, including:

- Serving customers across our counter, drive-thru and dine-in areas

- Providing friendly and helpful customer service

- Taking orders and operating the register

- Preparing and serving drinks

- Assisting with food preparation and handling

- Helping maintain a clean and welcoming dining area

- Restocking displays, fridges and service areas

- Following food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards

- Working as part of a team to keep the store running smoothly

About You





- Friendly, positive and confident when interacting with customers

- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

- Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment

- Happy to take direction and learn new skills
- A team player with a good attitude and solid work ethic

- Looking for a casual job that fits around school

- Available for weekday afternoon shifts and some weekend shifts

No previous experience is necessary!

Pay rates and applicable casual loadings will be in accordance with the relevant award, classification and applicable employment conditions.
