Our Client Doreen Eatery Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Chef to join their team located in Doreen VIC 3754. This role involves preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes while ensuring high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene.

Tasks required include

Prepare, cook and present a variety of dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s menu and quality standards.

Plan menus, estimate food requirements and monitor ingredient availability.

Ensure food is prepared and cooked in compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.

Monitor food quality, portion sizes, presentation and consistency.

Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen operations.

Manage food stock, inspect deliveries and minimise wastage.

Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure the kitchen is clean and organised.

Assist with menu development, recipe costing and controlling food costs.

Coordinate food preparation and service to ensure timely delivery of meals.

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

Qualification and Experience

Cert IV in Cookery and 3 years of experience
