The Beachcomber Cafe Chef required , Full time position long term secure employment About Company Beachcomber Cafe in St Kilda is looking for an experienced Chef . The position is full time position with at least a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. We are a successful run café based in the heart of St Kilda beach. Our focus is on modern Australian cuisine with Mediterranean influence.

Skills and Experience: Successful candidate will need : To be enthusiastic and passionate about creating new dishes for our restaurant menu. Flexible and adaptable to move with the trends Preferably have experience in contemporary Australian, Mediterranean style cuisine and seafood. Be able to work within a large team in the kitchen, with periods of high volume service and have the ability to teach new kitchen staff their roles .





About the role skills and experience required Monitoring dish quality at all stages of cooking and preparation Develop and test new recipes . Update the menu according to seasonal produce. Maintain product, service and market knowledge Ensures high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout kitchen Ability to direct, supervise and lead the staff.
