Tonic + Ginger is recruiting for experienced CDP or Commis chef to join an already successful team.

Showcasing big & bold favours that are always balanced to perfection, T+G boasts an extensive menu with signature dishes that have become firm favourites - if you haven't tried our Firecracker Cauliflower with bang bang sauce you are missing out!

Open 7 days a week - Lunch & Dinner with over 1,000 cover a week.

Tonic & Ginger forms part of the exciting hospitality precinct, The Old Synagogue that includes: The Arbor, Mr Chapple and L'Chaim - with one kitchen to service them - this is a role to sink your teeth into!

A bit about you

Minimum 3years experience as chef in a fast paced, high-volume kitchen

Asian cuisine experience is preferred but not necessary

Experience relevant to position you are applying for!

Commercial cookery certificate

Ability to deliver an exceptional and consistent food product





Ability to follow recipes & directions from senior chefs and managers

Ability to work autonomously

Ability to learn and work multiple sections with including pans, wok, fryers, larder & grill.

Able to work flexible hours across weekends & public holidays The personality & drive to succeed - we are looking for our next leaders!
