We specialise in providing health services to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and to the whole of the community, but We are not your typical medical center! /n /n You will work alongside GP’s, Allied Health, and Aboriginal Health Practitioners in the medical centre as a practice nurse, in addition to empowering Mob through community initiatives.

Chronic Disease

- A sense of Humour

- Current registration with AHPRA

- Understand the health needs of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander children, families and community

/n

- Clinical Nurse with Primary Health care and maternal and child Health experience. Primary health care means medical centres, Primary health care centres, urgent care centres, or remote area nursing.

- Maternal and child Health for Babies Gunyah and Gunyah Schools programs, as well as child health checks.

/n





- Experience working with first Nations communities.

/n

- Emergency department experience for our frequent triages and emergencies.

/n

- Has Basic Life support and First Aid current.

/n

- Experience with students, such as Aboriginal Health Practitioner students, Paramedics, Medical students, Nursing students, work experience students.

/n

- Ability to team lead and contribute to policy.
