Team Leader, Mental Health Inpatient Unit in Central Australia.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to lead our Mental Health Inpatient Unit in Central Australia. This role provides clinical leadership and expert advice on the assessment, planning, coordination, review, and evaluation of patient care within a complex mental health setting.

The successful candidate will lead and support a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based and culturally safe mental health services. Drawing on extensive inpatient mental health experience, you will coordinate clinical operations, guide therapeutic interventions, and provide education and support to staff, patients, and their families.

This is an exciting opportunity for an autonomous mental health clinician with strong leadership skills, a commitment to cultural safety, and a passion for improving outcomes for people experiencing mental illness.

Key Requirements:

- Extensive experience in a mental health inpatient setting.




- Proven clinical leadership and team coordination skills.
- Strong commitment to culturally protected, person-centred care.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience delivering evidence-based mental health interventions, education, and clinical support.
- Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health or currently working towards completion.
